Obituary for William L. "Skip" Davis

William L. “Skip” Davis, age 75 years of Whiteford, MD died on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at the Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. He was the lifetime companion of Susan E. Morris. They celebrated 51 years together on July 30, 2020.
Skip was born in Fountain Green, Harford County, MD on July 26, 1945 a son of the late William McNutt and Helen Louise (Watson) Davis. He served in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1968 and was a member of the Slate Ridge Post #182, American Legion in Whiteford. Skip worked in the construction field beginning as a welder in Cardiff with R. Roberts and Son in 1968. Later employment included T.C. Simon Construction, Frank Montgomery, American Infrastructure and Stewart and Tate Construction.
In addition to his lifetime companion, he is survived by;

John Lanius of Gunnison, CO

Pauline Snyder of Airville, PA

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 14 at 2 p.m. at the Bethany Baptist Church, 4162 Delta Rd., Airville, PA with longtime friends Bob Comer and Reverend Richard Roberts officiating.
