ALLEN ENSIGN BRAMBLE, JR., 87 of Forest Hill, MD, died on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Forest Hill Heights, MD. He was the beloved husband of the late Virginia May (Wallace) Bramble, who died April 16, 2015.

Born July 3, 1931 in Baltimore, MD, he was a son of the late Allen Ensign and Loula Grace (Klein) Bramble. Serving in the Korea War for two tours, Allen was a decorated Marine Corps veteran and recipient of two Purple Heart Medals. After serving our country for 6 years, he went on to work as a fire fighter for Baltimore City Fire Department, Engine Co. #6 for 40 years, retiring in 1990.

His daughter, Sandra Bramble McLhinney of Abingdon, MD

Two grandchildren;

Patrick McLhinney (Alyse) of Bel Air, MD

Dan McLhinney of Abingdon, MD

Great-grandson, Nolan Patrick McLhinney

He is preceded in death by his brother, Timothy, and great-grandson, Oliver Allen McLhinney who passed away January 24, 2019.
