Andre Maurice Favre, age 80 years, of Pylesville, MD, died at 7:32 pm on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. He was the husband of the late Sharen D. Favre and the late Diana Favre.

Born in Switzerland on September 21, 1941, he was the son of the late Victor and Hélène (Fournier) Favre. He served ten years in Swiss military service, some of it with ski patrol units. While living in Europe, he trained and became a professional chef.

Mr. Favre moved to the United States in 1978, where he worked in construction and as a mason.

He is survived by his three daughters:

Susan Elizabeth Gue and her husband, William R. Gue, III of Pylesville, MD

Andrea Michelle Mitchell of Baltimore County, MD

Five grandchildren:

Alexis, Justin, Rebecca, Jessica, and Zackary

Alice Rose-Marie Rey

Two brothers:

Louis Joseph Favre

Marc Arthur Favre, all siblings live in Switzerland

He was preceded in death by his sister, Yvonne Clivaz.
