Ann Spencer, 68 years of Delta, PA, died unexpectedly in her home, March 17, 2017. Born March 20, 1948 in Syracuse, NY, she was the daughter of the late Walter Harry and Florence Marie (Hicks) Cross. Married for 28 years, October 19, 1988, Ann was the loving wife of Larry A. Spencer.

She is preceded by her brother, Walter Harry Cross, Jr.

Ann served her community as a MD Transportation Authority Police Officer for 18 years and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge 34. A devoted member of the Delta United Methodist Church since 2008, she served as former lay speaker of the church and vice president of the Administration Board. Ann also volunteered for 'The Hub' organization providing disaster relief and sang in the church choir. She was an amazing cook and loved to sew. She will be dearly missed for her genuine interest in the wellbeing of others and for her kind heart.

A viewing will be held Thursday, March 23, 2017 from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main St., Delta, PA where the funeral service will begin at 4:30 p.m., officiated by Pastor Tim Klein of the Peach Bottom Charge.
