ANNA MAE HANSON, age 89 years, of Whiteford, Maryland died on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Calvert Manor Health Care Center in Rising Sun, Maryland. She was the wife of Theodore O. Hanson, Sr. who died on September 19, 1995.

Born on October 11, 1921 in Lee County, Virginia, she was the last surviving child of James and Amanda (Phillips) Mullins. She had moved from Oak Hall, Fayetteville County, West Virginia to Harford County in 1954. A homemaker, she had been a member of Baptist View Baptist Church in Forest Hill, Maryland since 1975. Mrs. Hanson had worked for the former Whiteford Sewing Factory from 1957 to 1965.

She is survived by:

Two sons-

Terry Wayne Hanson of Port Deposit, Maryland

Larry Donald Hanson of Lawton, Oklahoma

Three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, four step grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren.

Loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by:

Two sons-Tommy Lynn Hanson and Theodore O. Hanson, Jr.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, Pennsylvania.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, the 15th at Baptist View Baptist Church, 2718 Sharon Road, Forest Hill, Maryland. Elder J. Fred Wyatt will officiate.

Interment will be in Bel Air Memorial Gardens, Bel Air, Maryland.
