Obituary

ANNIE DEAN FORD of Whiteford, Maryland died on Sunday, April 17, 2011 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. She was the wife of the late Henry T. Ford with whom she had shared 58 years of marriage at the time of his death.

Born in Polk County, Georgia, Mrs. Ford was the daughter of the late Sara C. and James William McKibben. In 1945, she moved to Maryland and was the owner/operator of Ann's Beauty Shop until her retirement. Mrs. Ford was a member of Slate Ridge Presbyterian Church for over 50 years where she had served as a deacon.

She is survived by:

A daughter, Patricia A. Kefauver and her husband, Randall of Whiteford, Maryland

A daughter-in-law, Sandra Ford also of Whiteford.

Three grandchildren-

Kelly A. May and her husband, Charlie of Bel Air, Maryland

R. Scott Kefauver and his wife, Missy of Delta, Pennsylvania

Timothy Ford and his fiancée, Andrea of Whiteford, Maryland

Six great grandchildren-

Ashlyn B. and Mason S. Kefauver of Delta, Pennsylvania

Charlie N., Emily and Spencer May of Bel Air, Maryland

Andi Marie Ford of Whiteford, Maryland

A sister-in-law: Florence Ford of York, Pennsylvania

Many loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Thomas D. Ford on November 19, 2010, a sister and five brothers, all siblings having lived in Cedartown, Georgia.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, Pennsylvania.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Slate Ridge Presbyterian Church, 1630 Chestnut Street, Cardiff, Maryland with her pastor, Reverend Carletta R. Curley officiating.

Interment will be in Slate Ridge Cemetery, Delta, Pennsylvania.

Pallbearers will be Scott Kefauver, Charlie May, Jim Alleger, Clay Miller, Dale Wise and Tim Ford.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Randall Kefauver, Barry Kefauver and Eric Clark.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial contributions to the church at the above address.
