Arleen A. Carico-Heaps died on April 15, 2010 at 11:25 PM. She was the wife of the late Walter R. Heaps who died on December 22. 1989.

Arleen was born November 27, 1923 in Delta, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Walter and Ethel Carico. Mrs. Heaps was employed by Southeastern School District for 21 years.

She is survived by 4 sons- Walter A. Heaps and his wife Kathryn of Fawn Grove, PA - Dale W. Heaps and his wife Gayle of Stewartstown, PA - C. Martin Heaps of York, PA and Scott Heaps and his wife Michelle of Cecil County, MD

4 daughters- Sharon L. Snyder and her husband Charles of Brogue, PA - Cheryl Van Hart and her husband Lawrence of Brogue, PA - Dawn Devoe and her husband Brent of Fawn Grove, PA and Nancy Burgen and her husband Loren of York, PA

15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchilden.

2 brothers- Hershell N. Carico and Langdon G. Carico

Friends may visit with the family from 7-8:30 PM Tuesday, April 27 at Propsect United Methodist Church, 8 Orchard Rd., New Park, PA with a memorial service starting at 8:30 PM. Her pastor Rev. Michael Trimmer will officiate.
