ARTHUR F. MILLER, age 91 years, of Delta, Pennsylvania died at his home on Thursday, June 8, 2006 at 11:45 PM. He was the husband of Laura E. (Burk) Miller, and they had shared sixty-three years of marriage.

Mr. Miller was born on February 22, 1915 in Mill Green area of Harford County, Maryland; a son of the late Addison H. and Susan (Cooper) Miller. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during WWII. He served in the American Theater, the Asiatic-Pacific Theater and during the Philippine Liberation. During the 1950-1960-s, while farming, he had driven a school bus for the Red Lion Area School District. He later worked as a truck mechanic for International Harvester at their former York, Pennsylvania location for sixteen years. He was a member of the United American Mechanics Lodge, the Red Lion VFW and the American Legion in Red Lion, Pennsylvania.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Elmer Miller.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 12, 2005 at 11:00 AM at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, Pennsylvania

Interment will be in Mt. Nebo Cemetery, Delta.

Reverend Dennis L. McCleary of Mt. Nebo United Methodist Church, Delta will officiate.

Visitation with the family will be held on Sunday, June 11, 2006 from 7-9PM at the funeral home.
