AUGUSTUS ZERBIE LITTLE, 92 years of Joppa, MD, died on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at Hart Heritage Estates in Forest Hill, MD. He was the husband of Eleanor Victoria (Koszoru) Little with whom he had shared over 72 years of marriage.
Born on March 19, 1923 in Flintville, MD, he was a son of the late Isaac L. and Ida Elizabeth (Cunningham) Little and a U.S. Army veteran serving 1945-1946. Born on his parents' farm on Peach Orchard Road in Whiteford, MD, Gus continued to help on the farm until it was sold in 1990. Gus was a volunteer with the Edgewood Boy Scout Troop #369 – Pack #27 and served as vice president of Edgewood PTA while his sons were in school in Edgewood. Retiring in 1985, he had worked as a mechanic followed by a quality assurance inspector serving 30 years at Edgewood Arsenal and 13 years in the Aberdeen Area of Aberdeen Proving Ground.
Gus along with his wife, Eleanor was faithful to Tabernacle Church of Whiteford, MD, where they had served on the cemetery association, were active in church events and as church supporters. He was a member of the Harford County Genealogical Society and enjoyed traveling both in the United States and abroad. Gus was a devoted son, loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and a gentleman who was always there to help and support his family and friends.

Keith Robert Little; Kenneth Douglas Little; Michael D. Little; Erin V. Little and Zachary L. Little

Jennifer P. Little; Isabel C. Little and Nolan Lee Little
Many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, George H. Little; Robert H. Little and Hugh Thomas Little.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2015 from 2 to 4 p.m. followed immediately with the funeral service at 4 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA. Pastor John Waltermyer of Tabernacle Regular Baptist in Collinsville, PA will officiate. There will not be any public internment services.
