BARBARA A. ROBERTS, 85 of Delta, PA, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2024 in her home. She was the beloved wife for 40 years of Dorsey W. Roberts who died on September 20, 2018.

Born in Baltimore, MD on December 7, 1938, she was the only child of the late Michael M. Hapstak and Eva Mae Adkins Hapstak and a graduate of Bel Air High School. Barbara had been an employee of Aberdeen Proving Ground in Harford County, MD and enjoyed being a full time homemaker later in life. She loved to work in the yard whether it was moving, weeding, raking leaves or picking up sticks in the spring and fall. Barbara always took great pride in keeping her home beautiful and was known as a hard worker. A favorite outing was to shop in the York Galleria Mall where she went straight to the Boscov Department Store.

Strong in her Christian faith, she worshipped alongside her late husband and had been a longtime attendee of Gospel Baptist Church in Jarrettsville, MD. Barbara will be remembered for her warm sweet smile, her endless kindness shown to others and her loving heart.

Her son-in-law and caregiver, Robert S. Pacocha, husband of her only child, Renea Lynn Pacocha who died on October 28, 2021.

Her granddaughters: Heather (Colin) Cairns and Reanna Palmer.

Her great grandchildren: Lillian Harden Nikki Cairns, Seth Cairns, Brady Cairns and Freya Palmer.

Great-great grandchildren: Raiden Harden and Delilah Harden.

Services will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Gospel Baptist Church, 3025 Sharon Road, Jarrettsville, MD with a viewing from 10-11 a.m. followed immediately with the funeral service led by Reverend Phillip Dunaway, church pastor. Interment will be in Union Chapel Cemetery, Delta, PA.
