BERTIE R. TODD, age 97 years, of Delta, Pennsylvania died on Monday, April 24, 2006 at 11:30 PM at Manor Care Health Services in Dallastown, Pennsylvania. She was the wife of Jesse M. Todd who died on April 24, 2003.

Mrs. Todd was born on August 11, 1908 in Ennice, North Carolina a daughter of the late Emmett and Matilda (Kirby) Roberts. She had worked in health care.

She is survived by:

A daughter-Maxine B. Matthews and her husband, Bill, of Delta, Pennsylvania

Five grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren

A half brother-Elwood Roberts of Florida

Two half sisters-

Alverta Jones of Virginia

Nellie Woods of North Carolina

Many loving nieces and nephews

She was preceed in death by a son, James E. Todd and a daughter, Margaret Todd.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2006 at 2:30 PM at Bel Air Memorial Gardens, 300 Moores Mill Road, Bel Air, Maryland.

Reverend Dr. John E. McKnight, pastor of the Evangelical Methodist Church, Street, Maryland, will officiate.
