BETTY ANN HEINER MARQUIS, age 63 years of Red Lion, PA died on Sunday March 3, 2013 at Hospice and Community Care in Mt. Joy, PA. Born on December 19, 1949 in Delta, PA, she was a daughter of Stanley Heiner of Delta and the late Florence (Wright) Heiner.

Betty Ann was a lifetime resident of York County and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the John S. Murphy V.F.W. Post #7130 in Delta. She had worked as a machine operator for over 30 years for Amp in Loganville, PA and Tyco in Mt. Joy.

In addition to her father, she is survived by:

A daughter, Michelle J. Anderson and her husband, Gregory of Red Lion

A step daughter, Karen Traynor of York, PA

Three step grandchildren, Ben, Maddy and Katie

Six siblings-

Dennis Heiner and his wife, Linda

David Heiner and his wife, Debbie

Randy Heiner, all of Delta

Mike Heiner and his wife, Nancy of Airville, PA

Glenda Little of Gatchelville, PA

She was preceded in death by her former husband, Harry F. Marquis.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2013 from 9 to 10 a.m. followed immediately by the Memorial Service at Harkins Funeral Home with Reverend Judith L. Walker of the Bryansville/Delta United Methodist Charge officiating.

Additional services will be private.
