BETTY JEAN ROBERTS, 83, of Whiteford, MD, died on Saturday, February 3, 2018 in Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace, MD and was the devoted wife of the late George Nelson Roberts, Jr. Born on November 29, 1934 in Forest Hill, MD, Betty was a daughter of the late Clinton Filmore and Mamie Margaret (Agens) Swift. Betty attended the former Slate Ridge Elementary and a 1952 graduate of North Harford High School. A longtime employee at the former Pettifrocks in Whiteford, MD, Betty's favorite pastimes included family picnics, cooking, baking and making candy.

She is survived by:

Daughter, Linda M. Doss of Whiteford, MD

Sister, Hazel Bartolec of Whiteford, MD

A niece, Terry Snee and nephews: Thomas Bartolec, Steve Davis and Ronald Davis

She is preceded in death by five siblings: Janet, Harvey, Gladys, Mary and Maurice ("Bud").

Services will be private.
