BETTY MARIE TAYLOR, age 79 years, of Whiteford, Maryland, died on Monday, December 17, 2007 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. She was the wife of Ervin R. Taylor, Jr.

Mrs. Taylor was born on June 22, 1928 in Pylesville, Maryland; a daughter of the late Robert Andrew and Clara Margaret (Founds) Jones. She was a charter member of the Evangelical Methodist Church of Dublin, Maryland. Mrs. Taylor had worked at the former D&D Sewing Factory in Delta, Pennsylvania and the former Whiteford Packing Company in Whiteford, Maryland. She enjoyed quilting in her spare time.

Six great-grandchildren

A sister- Patricia Nunn of Rising Sun, Maryland

Two brothers-

Robert A. Jones, Jr. of Delta, Pennsylvania

Franklin Jones of Whiteford, Maryland

She was preceded in death by a brother Lawrence Jones and a sister Merna Watkins.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 21, 2007 at 11 AM at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, Pennsylvania with her pastor Reverend Dr. John McKnight officiating.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 7-9 PM.

Interment will be in Bel Air Memorial Gardens. Bel Air, Maryland.
