Brenda D. Barben, age 63 years of Cardiff, Maryland, died at her home on Wednesday, November 9, 2005 at 10:00 PM. She was the wife of Charles E. Barben, Jr. and they recently observed their forty-third wedding anniversary

Mrs. Barben was born on March 21, 1942 in Stewartstown, Pennsylvania; a daughter of Jessie (Anstine) Fillmore of Stewartstown, Pennsylvania and the late Eugene Fillmore. Brenda was a member of the Delta-Cardiff VFC Ladies Auxiliary and had been a member of the former Cambria United Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, baking and bible study.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, November 12, 2005 at 2:00 PM at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, Pennsylvania with Pastor Carlton Ballard of Delta Chapel Bible Methodist Church officiating.

Visitation will be from 7-9 PM on Friday, November 11 at the funeral home.

Burial will be in the Stewartstown Cemetery, Stewartstown, Pennsylvania

Pallbearers will be David Sparks, Sr., David Sparks, Jr., Matthew Barben, Charles Barben, Thomas Gray, and Kenneth Sparks.
