BRUCE R. COATES, age 47 years, of Forest Hill, Maryland died on Thursday, April 10, 2008 at Warwick Manor in East New Market, Maryland. He was the husband of Peggy L. (Remmell) Coates.

Mr. Coates was born on August 19, 1960 in Baltimore, Maryland; he was a son of the late Arthur Raymond Coates, Jr. and Mary Reynolds Coates. He attended the Calvary Chapel of Delta. He enjoyed fishing, boating, participating in Ken-Po Karate and his lab named "Sarge." He was a master BBQ chef, creating and managing the Andy Nelson's BBQ in Cockeysville, Maryland for twenty-five years in both the restaurant and the catering division.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by;

Three children-

Brandon M. Coates, Dylan A. Coates and Vanessa R. Coates, all of Forest Hill, Maryland.

A sister, Brenda A. Hash and her husband, Duane C. of Street, Maryland.

Loving nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on April 20, 2008 from 1:30 - 3:00 PM at Calvary Chapel of Delta, 5911 Delta, Road, Delta, Pennsylvania.

A memorial service will follow beginning at 3 PM at the chapel with Pastor Doug McClean officiating.
