Life story prepared by the family: Buges "Kookie" Testerman passed away Sep. 26, 2021 in his home in Street, Maryland where he lived for 44 years of natural causes. He was born Feb. 6, 1944 in Troutdale, Virginia.
Kookie was a beloved life-long musician, who loved singing and entertaining a crowd. He worked for and retired from Chrysler-Newark Assembly Plant. He came from a large and loving family and is preceded in death by his parents Neil and Chloe Testerman, his siblings Don E. Sr., James, and Ramon Testerman, Pearl Simons, Thelma Privitt, Katherine Ross, and Mae Crumrine as well as his daughter Tina Phillips. He is survived by his brother Joseph Testerman, his children Tony and Penny Testerman, Cookie Marie Felix and Lisa Weigel. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Kookie lived his own way and was a true original who left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He appreciated the simple things in life and loved visiting the mountain where he was born.

Kookie will be honored with a viewing on Friday, October, 1, 2021, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, Inc., located at 600 Main St. Delta, PA, followed by a 1 p.m. graveside service at Mt. Nebo Cemetery, located at 962 Flintville Rd. Delta, PA, with Reverend Dr. John E. McKnight officiating.
The family kindly requests that those attending the viewing please wear a mask while inside the funeral home.
