CAROLE A. FISHER, 71 YEARS OF Delta, PA, formerly of Westminster, MD, died on Monday, September 14, 2015 at Colonial Manor in York, PA. She was the wife of Thomas E. Fisher with whom she had shared 23 years of marriage.

Born on March 23, 1944 in Baltimore, MD, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth Melvin and Catherine Bradenburg Melvin. A 1968 University of Maryland-College Park Campus graduate, Carol had retired in 2000 with 32 years of service working as a claims adjuster for the Social Security Administration at the Woodlawn office. She had recently moved to Delta and loved animals.

A brother, Kenneth Melvin and his wife, Valery of Woodlawn, MD

A stepdaughter, Jacklyn Mello and her husband, John of Baltimore, MD

Two grandsons-Calvin Mayhle and Jon Thomas Mello

A niece, Christine Melvin of Baltimore, MD

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA with Pastor James Mastro of Rosedale Baptist Church officiating.

There will not be any public inurnment services.
