CAROLE C. "ROCKY" STATON, age 66 years, of Delta, Pennsylvania died on Friday, May 30, 2008 at Lancaster Regional Medical Center in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She was the wife of Wayne P. Staton, and they shared forty-seven years of marriage.

Mrs. Staton was born on February 17, 1942 in Baltimore, Maryland; she was a daughter of the late Gus and Mary J. (Davorack) Rockel. She had lived in the Delta area for twenty-one years, moving from Baltimore. She was of the Roman Catholic faith and was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and her tropical fish.

Christine M. Jankowski of Dundalk, Maryland

Dodie D. Strong and her husband, Bill of Dundalk

Four grandchildren and four great grandchildren

A sister, Brenda Saddler of Dundalk

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 2, 2008 at 11 AM at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, Pennsylvania.

Deacon Phillip Seneschal of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Parish, Pylesville, Maryland will officiate.

A viewing will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be in Slate Ridge Cemetery, Delta, Pennsylvania.
