Carolee M. Watson, age 79 years, of Delta, PA died on Friday, Dec. 3 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, Bel Air, MD. She was the wife of David Watson, Jr. They were married for over 56 years.

Mrs. Watson was born on May 28, 1931 in Perry Hall, MD a daughter of the late John and Emma (Dietz) Horn. She was a member of Jerusalem Lutheran Church where she was a member of the choir and also a soloist. Carolee was a very loving, kind a compassionate person, she loved to hold babies, cooking and gardening. She had worked for various real estate agencies in Maryland before she retired.

In addition to her husband she is survived by 3 daughters- Kathy Watson, Deborah and her husband Dennis Vierling and Bethany and her husband Michael Schmidt.

She was a proud grandmother of 3 grandchildren- Troy & Kyle Vierling and David Schmidt.

A sister- Marie Biles

She was preceded in death by a brother- Kenneth Horn and a sister Emma Moore.

Funeral service will be on Thursday, Dec 9 at 11 AM at Jerusalem Lutheran Church, 717 Wheeler School Rd., Whiteford, MD.

Visistation will be on Wednesday, Dec. 8 at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main St., Delta, PA from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM.

Burial will be at Bel Air Memorial Gardens

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Jerusalem Lutheran Church, 712 Wheeler School Rd., Whiteford, MD 21160

Pallbearers will be Troy J. Vierling, Kyle N. Vierling, Gerald D. Horn, David Watson, Michael Schmidt and Dennis L. Vierling

Honorary pallbearers will be David Schmidt, William I. LeMaster, Homer Jones and Charles Watson.
