CAROLYN H. YOWELL, age 48 years, of Delta, Pennsylvania died on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. She was the wife of Gary C. Yowell, and they had shared sixteen years of marriage.

Born on October 5, 1960 in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of Hilda Gray (Taylor) Blackmon of Lakeland, Florida and the late William M. Blackmon. She had worked as a beautician at Images in Cockeysville, Maryland and attended Faith Tabernacle in Baltimore, Maryland. Approximately twenty years ago, she moved to Delta and had worked at the Hair Gallery and attended Bryansville United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Butch Blackmon and a sister, Paulette Alexander.

A private inurnment was held for her family.
