CHARLES EDWARD "Ed" GEORGE, 68 years of Street, MD, died in his home on Friday, March 25, 2016. Married on July 19, 1969, he had shared 46 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Martha E. (Schisler) George.

Born on March 27, 1947 in Tampa, FL, he was a son of the late Ray Elwood and Betty (McDowell) George and a graduate of Overlea High School in Baltimore, MD. Mr. George served with the 25th Infantry Division of the U.S. Army in Vietnam and was a lifetime member of the D.A.V. A long distance truck driver, he had been employed with Port East Trucking of Baltimore followed by maintenance work for the Bel Air Plaza Laundromat.

Four grandchildren-

Saihara, Dustin, Samantha and Cheyenne George

Viewings will be held on Wednesday, March 30 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA.

The funeral service will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Chaplain Allen Siegel will officiate.

Military honors will follow.
