CHARLES H. FEVERYEAR, age 84 years of Bel Air, Maryland, died on Monday, April 20, 2009 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air. He was the husband of Lorna F. (Bloom) Feveryear for 56 years.
Born on June 17, 1924 in Mahaffey, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Charles and Stella (Shearer) Feveryear. Mr. Feveryear served in the US Army during WWII in Central Europe, Normandy, Northern France and Rhineland. Retiring after 30 years of service, he worked as an experimental equipment tester for Aberdeen Proving Ground. He was a member of the Bel Air Church of the Nazarene.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by:
Three sons-
C. Glenn Feveryear and his wife, Rita; Gary W. Feveryear and his wife, Dawn, all of Delta, Pennsylvania
Galen T. Feveryear and his wife, Penny of Narvon, Pennsylvania
A daughter, Sheila J. Romagano, also of Delta
Nine grandchildren and a great grandson.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, May 3rd at the Bel Air Church of the Nazarene, Bel Air, Maryland.
A second memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2009 at 11 AM at the Greenville Church of the Brethren, 3995 Greenville Pike, Grampian, PA, 16838.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Charles Feveryear Memorial and mailed to the Greenville Church of the Brethren at the above address.
