CHARLES STEPHEN "Steve" GLACKIN, age 58 years, died on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 in his home in Whiteford, MD. He was the husband of Kim Rose (Brennan) Glackin with whom he had shared 18 years of marriage.

Born on June 11, 1953 in Fullerton, MD, he was a son of the late Jesse Raymond and Mary Elizabeth (Beard) Glackin. He was a loyal employee of CAM Construction in Timonium, MD for 18 years, working in quality control. Steve was devoted to his family and friends and was known for his kind nature, his ever present smile and the lasting friendships he made with so many people.

He was an active member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Pylesville, MD. His memberships also include the Knights of Columbus; Mason-Dixon Council #10100, the Slate Ridge Post #182 American Legion and the Delta-Peach Bottom Fish and Game. Steve was an active participant in the annual "Glackin Clan" reunion.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 2 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 1021 St. Mary's Road, Pylesville, MD

Reverend A. Henry Kunkel, III will be the celebrant.

Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.

Friends may call at the Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main St., Delta, PA on Thursday, March 1st from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
