CHARLES M. HOWE, age 80 years, died on Monday, December 19, 2011 in his home in Delta, Pennsylvania. He was the husband of Mona J. (Michael) Howe with whom he had shared 59 years of marriage.

Born on October 13, 1931 in Fall River, Massachusetts, he was a son of the late William and Bella (Munroe) Howe. Mr. Howe was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and had previously lived in Falls Church, Virginia. Retiring in 1978, he had worked for 30 years for the United States Government.

Mr. Howe was a Boy Scout Leader, a "Jack of all Trades", enjoyed hunting, fishing and sailing.

Kathleen Fike and her husband Harold of La Vale, Maryland

Linda Howe of Delta, Pennsylvania

Six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.
