CHARLES HENRY HUTTON, age 85 years, of Delta, Pennsylvania died on Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at Country View Assisted Living in Darlington, Maryland. He was the husband of the late Mary (Sheeler) Hutton.

Mr. Hutton was born on April 7, 1923 in Delta, Pennsylvania; a son of the late Russell and Ruth (Mitchell) Hutton. He was a United States Army veteran of WWII. He had worked as a heavy equipment operator for Crouse Construction and later retired from Comer Construction. He was a Baptist minister for many years at the former Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Dublin, Maryland.

Jeannie L. Rhodes of Delta, Pennsylvania

Bonnie L. Delorie of Sterling, Virginia

Roy R. Hutton of Edgewood, Maryland

John (Jack) H. Hutton of Kirkwood Twp, Pennsylvania

Five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3, 2008 from 7 - 9 PM at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, Pennsylvania.

The funeral service will be on Saturday, October 4, 2008 at 11 AM at the funeral home.

Reverend Alvin H. Williams of Sharon Freewill Gospel Baptist Tabernacle, Jarrettsville, Maryland will officiate.

Interment will be in Mt. Nebo Cemetery, Delta, Pennsylvania.

Pallbearers will be Roy Hutton, Teddy Acker, Bob Barnes, Sr., Bobby Barnes, Jr., Bill Delorie and Mason Mays.
