CHARLES R. STIKE, age 65 years of Bel Air, Maryland died on Saturday, February
24. 2007 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air.
Mr. Stike was born on December 1, 1941 in Street, Maryland a son of Guida Louise (Greer) Stike of Street and the late Charles H. Stike. He was a lifetime resident of Harford County and was employed as a backhoe operator for Matricciani Company in Baltimore, Maryland at the time of his death. He often could be found operating his John Deere equipment and mowing yards for his family. He enjoyed gardening. In addition to playing his flat top guitar, he was fond of country and bluegrass music. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Eighteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren

James W. Stike and John R. Stike, both of Street
William P. Stike of Airville, Pennsylvania
A sister-Corrine Funk of Street
He was preceded in death by a son, Charles R. Stike in 1970 and a brother, Joseph O. Stike in 1967.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, Pennsylvania.
His son-in-law, Mr. Bobby Livezey of Oak Grove Baptist Church, Bel Air, Maryland will officiate.
Interment will be in Slate Ridge Cemetery, Delta.
Visitation with his family will be held on Tuesday evening, February 27th at the funeral home from 6-9 PM.
Pallbearers will be Larry King, Bob Livezey, Brian Stike, Craig Stike, Jonathan Stike and Michael Stike.
