CHARLES W. BOSLEY, age 95 years, died in his residence in Street, MD on Sunday March 3, 2013. He was the husband of Dora Elizabeth Bosley who died on January 20, 1999.

Born in the Rocks area on April 13, 1917, he was a son of the late James Wilbur and Sadie (Kennedy) Bosley and a lifetime resident of Harford County, MD. A lifelong farmer, Mr. Bosley was a hardworking man who tilled the land. He raised chickens and sold cream that he delivered to the former Ma & PA Rocks Railroad Station to be delivered in Baltimore. He was known to get along with everyone and was a member of the Emory United Methodist Church of Street, MD.

He is survived by:

A daughter, Lucille Bosley and her husband, Albert with whom he resided of Street, MD

A sister, Ruth Jones of Street

Three grandchildren-

Charles Bosley and his wife, Donna

Mark Bosley and his wife, Marcia

David Bosley

Two great grandchildren-

Ryan and Ethan Bosley

He was preceded in death by his sister, Mildred V. Hopkins

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 8, 2013 from 10 to 11 a.m. followed immediately by the funeral service at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA.

Officiating will be his Pastor Brian Shockey of Emory United Methodist Church

Interment will be in Slate Ridge Cemetery, Delta, PA.

Pallbearers will be Charles Bosley, Mark Bosley, David Bosley, Ethan Bosley, Ronald Thompson and Robert Richardson.
