CHRISTIAN DAVID DOCKENEY, 50 of Street, MD, died in his home on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 – the same day his grandson, Brayden was born. It could be said that Brayden came to fill the empty space that his grandfather left in the Dockeney Family. Christian was the beloved husband of Marleen F. (Rineholt) Dockeney; she preceded in in death on July 9, 2014. At the time of her death, they had shared 24 years of marriage.

One of four children of the late Donald Lee and Ellen Louise (Shiflett) Dockeney, Christian was born on November 24, 1970 in Baltimore, MD. He had moved to Street from Michigan in October 2019. Christian was currently employed with Whiteford Hardwood Floors until his health prevented him from working. He was known as a hard worker, very determined and was a talented mechanic. Frequently, he placed the needs of others before his own and was devoted to as well as proud of his grandchildren. An avid outdoorsman, he loved fishing, hunting and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Eight grandchildren-Adrean, Bruce, Ella, Bentley, Dustin, Mackenzie, Landon and Brayden.

Services will be held on Friday, December 4, 2020 with a viewing from 4 – 5:30 p.m. followed immediately with the funeral service at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA. If riding your motorcycle, please check in with the gentlemen who will be working the parking areas.
