Life story prepared by the loving family: It is with great sadness that the family of Christie Wagg announces her passing on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at the age of 65. She was born in Havre de Grace, MD, to her late parents, Clay D. and Betty R. (Smith) Burchette.

Christie loved the Lord and accepted Him as her savior many years ago. While her family will miss her greatly, we know she is in the presence of her savior and is no longer suffering in this world. She is at home, where we long to be and have the promise of being with her once again.

Christie loved her son, Craig, more than life itself. She would have done and given anything for him. She also loved her family dearly. She enjoyed crocheting, putting puzzles together, shopping and giving gifts (even when she didn't have much to give). She enjoyed cooking new recipes and was an amateur photographer, often photographing the sky. She also enjoyed collecting angels and being together with her family as much as possible.

Christie will be dearly missed by her son, Craig Wagg and his wife Amanda, her sister, Debbie Blevins and her husband, Richard. She will also be missed by her nieces; Wendy Adkins and her husband, Thomas, Anita Cochran and her husband, Melvin, Charity Davis and her husband, Keith. Seven great nephews and nieces and one great, great niece will forever cherish her memories.

In addition to her parents, Christie was predeceased by her son, Cody Wagg.

A viewing will be held on Monday, October 2, 2023 from 11:00 am until Noon, at Harkins Funeral Home, Inc., 600 Main Street, Delta, PA. A funeral service will begin at Noon in the chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Harold Phillips, of Pleasant View Baptist Church officiating. Burial will take place immediately following the funeral in Darlington Cemetery, Darlington, MD.
