CHRISTINE LYNN BERNHARD, age 53 years of Dallastown, PA died at 8:27 a.m. on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Hospice and Community Care in Mt. Joy, PA. She was the wife of the late Barry Lee May.

Christine was born in Havre de Grace, MD on September 27, 1963 a daughter of Ronald and Connie (Atkins) Leitheiser. She was a graduate of Red Lion High School and was employed in the Human Relations Department of Weis Markets in Red Lion. Active in her church, the Family Worship Center of Red Lion, she was also a care pastor.

One son: Barry Lee May, II of Dallastown

Her maternal grandmother: Corinne Rodermond of York

Two brothers: Michael Burkheimer of Lancaster

Craig Leitheiser of Manchester, PA

Two sisters: Sandy (Burky) Burkheimer of York

Melissa Moore of Red Lion

She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, September 23 beginning at 12:00 p.m. at the Family Worship Center of Red Lion, 865 W. Broadway, Red Lion, PA 17356. Pastor Robert Costello will be officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service and until 5:00 p.m. at the church.
