Christopher Davis Simmons, age 50, of Essex, MD, died on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center. Christopher was born on October 14, 1970 in Burlington, NC to his parents, Kenneth Lee Simmons, III and Brenda Louise (Redman) Simmons.

For his professional life, Christopher worked as a flooring installer and was known to his family as a brilliant man. His greatest joy and accomplishment in his life were his children. He enjoyed fellowship with a great host of family and friends. An avid outdoorsman, he was most at ease on the water with a fishing pole in his hand. His family will cherish fond memories of Christopher, especially his kind and caring spirit. Not too long ago, Christopher found a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and received Him as his Lord and Savior.

In addition to his parents, Christopher is survived by his daughter, Samantha Jo Simmons (Michael Miller) and his son, Christopher Davis Simmons, Jr. One brother, Kenneth Simmons, IV and one sister, Gretchen Fisher, wife of Danny Lee, and a grandson, Roman Michael Miller are left to cherish his memory. Additional family members who idolized him and will miss him very much are nieces, Amanda Simmons, Haley Fisher and nephew, Danny Fisher, Jr.

A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, July 14th beginning at noon at Calvary Chapel of Delta, 5911 Delta Road, Delta, PA with the church minister, Pastor Doug McClean officiating.
