CORA D. HOSTLER, age 79 years, of Fawn Grove, Pennsylvania died at her home on Tuesday, January 23, 2007 at 9:00 AM. She was the wife of the late E. Wilson Hostler who died on July 23, 1999
Mrs. Hostler was born on March 23, 1927 in Pylesville, Maryland a daughter of the late James B. and Mary Wynola (Burns) DeVoe. Cora was a member of Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church. She worked for 30 years with the US Public Health Hospital as a secretary and later was employed at the former Harden Homes in Delta, Pennsylvania. Cora was a 1944 graduate of the former Highland High School of Street, Maryland and completed her education with the Strayer Business School of Baltimore, Maryland.
She is survived by:
A sister- Charlotte D. Yale of Pylesville
A brother- Richard N. DeVoe of Woodlawn, Maru;amd
Two aunts- Mary Deickman and Toye Zeller both of Baltimore
Many nieces and nephews
Funeral services will be on Friday, January 26, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main St., Delta, Pennsylvania with her minister, Pastor. Dennis McCleary officiating.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Fawn Grove Cemetery.
