Daniel Dixon was born in Havre De Grace, MD to Denise and Mark Dixon on February 15th, 1981. He was called home to be with our Lord on Dec. 11, 2013, making his stay here on earth 32 years, 9 months, and 26 days. On Sept. 7, 2002 he was married to Loren Carroll. To this union was born 4 children; Cole, Kaleb, Quade, and Sway. He was preceded in death by his stillborn son Quade. He is survived by his wife, three children, his parents Mark and Denise Dixon of Airville, PA, his older brother Kevin Bergstrom and wife Ashley of Peach Bottom, PA , his younger brother Jason Dixon and wife Jeannie of Darlington, MD , his sister Kortni Lowe and husband Jason of Brogue, PA, sister Ashley Ayres and husband Shawn of Delta, PA , sister-in-law Stephanie Hinegardner and husband Sean of Aberdeen, MD , and father-in-law James Carroll and wife Margaret of Havre De Grace, MD. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Brother Dan Dixon professed a hope with a born again experience in Christ on August 8, 2000. He was baptized and joined Pleasant Home Regular Baptist Church that same month, where he remained a faithful member until death. Dan held the office of Assistant Sunday School Superintendent in the church. He loved his family deeply and enjoyed spending time with them. He loved working with his hands and was never too busy to lend a hand to anyone. Daniel spent his life living for the Lord and was not afraid to stand up for what he believed in. While we feel sorrowful for his departure, we look forward to meeting him in that place that God has prepared for them that love and serve him. He will be missed by many.

Visitations will be held on Monday, December 16, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, the 17th at 11 a.m. at Pleasant Home Regular Baptist Church, 15 Salisbury Road, Airville, PA with Elder Rob Lins and Brother Rob Johnson officiating.

Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery.
