Darrell was the husband of Yukie Arnold for over forty years.

Mr. Arnold was the son of Leonard Clay and Ruth (Calhoun) Arnold of Street, Maryland. He was a United States Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by a sister, Kathleen Staples of Perryville, Maryland.
