Life story prepared by his loving family: David Andrew Crockett

January 19, 1947-December 26, 2023

David Andrew Crockett of Delta, PA passed away on December 26, 2023, at the age of 76. David was the oldest son of Violet Charlotte and Andrew James Crockett. He was born in Baltimore City on January 19, 1947.

He lived at Sliver's Farm outside of Havre de Grace and graduated from Havre de Grace High School in 1965. He earned dual major degrees in Sociology and Psychology from Towson University. David served in the Maryland Army National Guard from 1970 to 1976. David married Karen Rea Bierly on October 3, 1970 and they were married for 52 years.

After graduating from Towson University, David worked as a Human Development Supervisor for the State of Maryland at Holly Center in Salisbury, MD for several years and then upon his return to Harford County, he sold real estate for Hallmark Realty. He also worked as a SEAL for power plant outages located at Peach Bottom, PA, retiring in 2009.

David is survived by his wife, Karen Crockett, his son Garrett Crockett, his daughter, Andrea Holzman (Lucas), his grandson Oliver Wade Holzman, his mother Violette Charlotte Turner, his sister Holly Crockett and his brother Steven Crockett. Additional survivors include his two sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law, two nieces, three nephews, one great niece and two great nephews.

He was predeceased by his father, Andy Crockett.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
