DAVID JOHN HAYES, son of Stephen John and Tammy Lynn (Longoria) Hayes was called home after a courageous battle with cancer. He passed in the arms of his parents at home on Friday, August 30, 2013 at 7:24 p.m.

David was entering 3rd grade at Clearview Elementary School in Brogue, Pa

Born on December 22, 2004 in Lancaster, PA David was the catcher for the "Lower Chanceford Pirates" David enjoyed riding on his four wheeler, swimming, having sleepovers, playing video games, monster trucks & working with his daddy. David was a devoted brother to his sister, Hailey Jaymes and was known as "Our Hero" to everyone who knew him.

Paternal grandmother, Lois Hayes of Airville, PA

Maternal grandparents, Michael & Schyla Falardeau of Orland Park, IL

Many loving uncles, aunts and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his Grandpa, James Hayes on December 5, 2006.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 2, 2013 from 2 to 8 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta PA

A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Tuesday, the 3rd at 10 a.m. at

St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 1021 St. Mary's Road, Pylesville, MD.

Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Airville, PA.
