David Gary McFadden, 61, of York, PA, died on Friday, November 19, 2021, at his home. David was born on August 12, 1960 in Baltimore, MD, to his parents the late Donald David McFadden and Betty M. (Workman) McFadden. He was a lifelong resident of York County.

David was a graduate of Kennard-Dale High School and he had worked as an electrician. He was a past member of Keystone Reptile Club and was a Master Mason in the Fraternity of Ancient Free and Accepted Freemasonry and a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite. A true outdoorsman, David loved spending time observing nature, hunting and fishing. He had a profound respect for nature and the animals that he hunted. David was also an amateur artist, with a fondness for penciling. He will be remembered always for his kind and adventurous spirit.

David is survived by one sister, Debra (Garry) Beard; one niece, Rebekah (Joe) Backhaus and one nephew, Jason (Kate) Smith. He is also survived by six great nieces and nephews.

Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family with Pastor Donald C. Rowe of The Peach Bottom Charge officiating.
