DAVID R. O'DELL, age 55 years of Delta, Pennsylvania died after a brief illness at 4:16 a.m. on Saturday, May 1, 2010 at the Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland.

He was the companion of Lynn (Wolfe) Moxley who died on June 6, 2006.

David was born in Hornell, New York on November 4, 1954, a son of the late William C. and Alberta L. (Hults) O'Dell. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and for the past twenty four years was employed as a finish carpenter for Gast Construction in White Marsh, Maryland.

He is survived by:

One daughter: Abbie E. O'Dell of Camas, Washington

Two stepdaughters: Rebecca A. Richardson of Owings Mills, Maryland

Kim A. Moxley of Forest Hill, Maryland

One stepson: Jesse P. Moxley of Forest Hill, Maryland

Two sisters: Barb Robinson of Ferndale, Washington

Belva Brutsman of Rochester, New York

Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his companion, he was preceded in death by his sister, Joanne O'Dell.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 3 at 7:00 p.m. at the Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, Pennsylvania.

Pastor Cindy Caldwell of Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church, Whiteford, Maryland will officiate.

Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 7 p.m. on Monday.
