DIANE C. LLOYD

AUGUST 2, 1940 — MARCH 12, 2022

Life story prepared by her family - Born August 2, 1940, Diane was the daughter of Hazel Estelle Jones Lloyd and Mark Lavelle Lloyd, who both preceded her in death. Diane came into this world in Whiteford, Maryland. She and her family resided in Cardiff, Maryland until her graduation from North Harford High School (after attending the former Slate Ridge Elementary School). She then went to Eastern Nazarene College in Wollaston, Massachusetts. Diane lived in Massachusetts for twelve years and then moved to the Atlanta, Georgia area where she resided until her death.

She was preceded in death by her older brother, Mark Winston Lloyd and her younger brother, Gary Bruce Lloyd. She is survived in her death by her nieces Christy Lloyd of Bel Air, Maryland; Susan Lloyd-Piralli of Switzerland; and nephews Mike Lloyd of Pennsylvania and Edward Lloyd of Maine. Diane is also survived by multiple cousins, great nieces and nephews.

Diane faithfully lived a life of service to God and to others. She had a knack for making everyone she encountered feel special. Though she has now gone "home" to be with her Lord and Savior and reunited with her parents, she will be greatly missed by her family members and friends.

Services will be held to celebrate the life of Diane and her mother, Hazel with a visitation at Harkins Funeral Home 600 Main Street, Delta Pennsylvania 17314 on Friday, April 15th from 10-11am. A graveside service will be held immediately following the visitation in Slate Ridge Cemetery, Delta, Pennsylvania with an inurnment for both.
