DOLLY P. PERRINE, age 80 years, of Fawn Grove, formerly of Delta, died on Monday, December 31, 2007 at Memorial Hospital in York, Pennsylvania. She was the wife of the Jennings C. Perrine who died in 1992.

Mrs. Perrine was born on April 21, 1927 in Braxton County, West Virginia; she was a daughter of the late Emory and Arizoma (Smallwood) Long. She moved to York County with her family from Ohio in 1963. She had worked for the former JLM Sportswear in Red Lion, Pennsylvania as a seamstress for ten years. She was a member of Delta Church of the Nazarene where she sang in the choir and enjoyed visiting with friends at the church coffee house. Seeing Mrs. Perrine sitting on the front porch of her Main Street home in Delta was a familiar sight to everyone in the community. There she loved to talk with teenagers who would stop and visit.

Jennngs Perrine, Jr. and his wife, Jill also of Delta

Connie Clarius and her husband, Bill of Airville, Pennsylvania

Fifteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild

Three brothers-

Willis Long and his wife, Janet of Dublin, Maryland

Eugene Long of Lancaster, Pennsylvania

Guy Long of Raleigh, North Carolina

A sister, Mildred Goodwin of Rising Sun, Maryland

Numerous loving nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Brandon Perrine; a sister, Ilene Milam; a brother Ores Long.

Services for Mrs. Perrine will be held on Friday, January 4, 2008 at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, Pennsylvania with a visitation from 1 till 2 PM. The funeral service will begin at 2 PM with her pastor, Reverend Robert J. Reter, Jr. officiating.

Interment will be in Slate Ridge Cemetery, Delta, Pennsylvania.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Delta Church of the Nazarene, 6610 Delta Road, Delta, Pennsylvania 17314.

Pallbearers will be her six daughters.
