DONALD E. GROVE,SR., 73 years of Airville, PA, died on Monday, December 21, 2015 in York Hospital. He was the husband of Betty (McCallister) Grove with whom he had shared 54 years of marriage.

Born on November 3, 1942 in Hopewell Township, PA, he was a son of the late Levi B. and Emma (Waltermyer) Grove and a lifetime resident of York County. Donald had worked for many good years for Hunderford Canning, Inc., until they closed. He then worked for the Peach Bottom Nuclear Plant until he retired. He enjoyed buying and reselling all types of items, fishing and hunting. There were special times for Donald when his grandsons went along on the hunting adventures.

Two sons-

Donald E. Grove, Jr., of Brogue, PA

Scott Grove and his wife, Connie of Airville, PA

A brother, Floyd Grove of Stewartstown, PA

Six grandsons-

Devin, Cameron, Haden, Hunter, Michael, and Austin Grove

He was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 28, 2015 at 2 p.m. in Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA with interment in Chanceford Cemetery, Airville, PA.

A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
