DONALD T. JENNINGS, SR., age 74 years, of Delta, Pennsylvania died on Sunday, June 3,

2007 at York Hospital in York, Pennsylvania. He was the husband of Pearl E. (Schoonover)

Jennings and they shared twenty-three years of marriage.

Mr. Jennings was born on August 19, 1932 in Hagerstown, Maryland a son of the late Lawrence T. and Edna M. (Rutherford) Jennings. He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving from 1951 thru 1955. He retired after thirty-eight years working as an electrician for the former Bethlehem Steel Company in Baltimore. He then worked for four years at the Ladew Gardens in Monkton, Maryland.

He enjoyed watching boxing and NASCAR. He loved his children and grandchildren.

Jeannie Little of Stewartstown, Pennsylvania

Sixteen grandchildren

A niece, Kimberly McCarty of Edgemere, Maryland

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Rosie Ludwig and a son, Lawrence Jennings.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, Pennsylvania.

Interment will be in Slate Ridge Cemetery with the York County Veterans Honor Guard presenting military honors.

Viewing will be held on Tuesday, June 5th from 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
