DONALD T. KLOCH, 87 of Delta, PA, died on Sunday morning, May 5, 2024 in his home. Married on September 17, 1976, he was the husband of Betty Ann (Burton) Kloch for nearly 48 years.
Born on June 2, 1936 in Baltimore, MD, he was one of four children born to the late Adam Jerome Kloch and Cleo Amanda (Rigby) Kloch. He had worked as an over the road truck driver for Local #557 of Baltimore, MD and then in Pennsylvania for Local #776 of Harrisburg. Donald retired in 2005 with 45 years of service. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Parish of Pylesville, MD where he was active in church events and a past Grand Knight and member of the Knights of Columbus Council #10100.
Donald was an avid golfer and enjoyed boating and fishing on the Susquehanna River as well as the Chesapeake Bay. He was fond of working with his backhoe and was always willing to help the neighbors with odd jobs and plowing snow from their driveways. Donald was very proud to have achieved his 32nd year sobriety medallion from Alcoholics Anonymous. His family loved him dearly and will miss him every day.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by:
Five children: Donna Boos (Jeffrey), Donald M. (Toni) Kloch, Adam Kloch (Kimberly), Shannon Breckenridge and Michael Kloch (Tiffany.)
Sixteen grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren and a great-great granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Lee Terry; his brothers-Jerome and Jack Kloch and just this past month, his sister, Patricia Bullis.
