Doris L. Anderson, age 86 years of Delta, PA died peaceably on Wednesday, March 7 at her home, moving on to her heavenly home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Miss Anderson was born on August 27, 1925 in Delta, PA a daughter of the late Benjamin and Olga (Snyder) Anderson. She was a graduate of the former Lower Chanceford High School and had also attended York Junior College. Miss Anderson had worked as a secretary at various locations including York Hospital, Stewart & March Construction and retired from IBEW Local 229.

She is survived by a nephew Richard Hamilton Sr. of Delta and a niece Beverly Bowman and her husband James of Delta.

She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be on Monday, March 12 at 2:00 PM at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main St., Delta, PA with Pastor Bill Hardecker of Mt. Zion Baptist Church officiating.

Viewing will be from 1-2 PM at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Airville, PA
