DOROTHY O. BRINDLE, age 87 years, of Pylesville, Maryland died on Wednesday, November 9, 2005 at 11:57PM at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. She had been the wife of the late Ralph N. Brindle who died on May 26, 1997.

Mrs. Brindle was born on February 7, 1918 in Baltimore, Maryland; a daughter of the late Charles L. and Edna (Wedmore) Bennett.

She had worked on the family farm and was a former foster mother. She was a homemaker specializing in cooking. All family members and guests were always served her delicious meals when visiting. She was a member of the Delta Chapel Bible Methodist Church in Delta, Pennsylvania.

She is survived by:

A son- Ralph C. Brindle of Pylesville, Maryland

Three grandchildren-

Ralph W. Brindle, Kathy Hogan, and Lisa Hedrick, all of

Pylesville, Maryland

Five great grandchildren and two great grandsons

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 14, 2005 at 1:30PM at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, Pennsylvania with Pastor Carlton Ballard of Delta Chapel Bible Methodist Church officiating.

Visitation with the family will be held on Sunday, November 13, 2005 from 7:00-9:00PM at the funeral home.

Interment will be in the Bel Air Memorial Gardens in Bel Air, Maryland.

Pallbearers will be Ralph W. Brindle, James Hedrick, Adam Hedrick, Joe Hogan, Bruce Fisher, and Duane Sission.
