DOROTHY E. TAYLOR, age 101 years of Delta, Pennsylvania died at Pleasant Acres Nursing and Rehabilitation in York, Pennsylvania. She was the wife of Arthur H. Taylor who died on May 2, 1996.

Mrs. Taylor was born on July 25, 1907 in the State of Maryland and had worked at Pleasant Acres Health and Rehabilitation for twelve years as a practical nurse.

Mrs. Taylor is one of the blessed to live over 100 years.

She is survived by:

Three sons-

Charles E. Taylor of East Prospect, Pennsylvania

Treverton W. "Chip" Taylor of Delta, Pennsylvania

Jerry L. Taylor of Denver, Pennsylvania

A daughter, Beverly A. Kahoe of Wilmington, North Carolina

Thirteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Arthur H. Taylor, Jr. on April 1, 1998.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Salem United Methodist Church, 5042 Delta, Road, Delta, Pennsylvania with a visitation from 1:00 - 2:00 PM.

Reverend James A. Baldwin of Woodbine Believers Assembly and Mr. Richard J. Sharrock, CLM will co-officiate.

Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Treverton W. Taylor, Jr.; Douglas Taylor, Charles H. Taylor, Todd Taylor, Jeff Kahoe and Michael Taylor.
