Dorothy Norine Taylor, 85, of Darlington, Maryland, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2026, at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Harford County, Maryland.

Born and raised with strong family values, Dorothy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life centered around her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Lee Taylor, with whom she shared many years of marriage and partnership.

Dorothy is survived by her loving children: Dorothy Jean Foltz, Carroll Franklin Taylor, James Michael Taylor, and Lee Anna Taylor. She was preceded in death by her sons Joseph Lee "Pudgy" Taylor and Daniel Ray Taylor.

She is also survived by her siblings Thelma Ayers, Charles Acker, Willard "Fuzzy" Acker. She was preceded in death by her siblings Catharine Rudd, Robert Acker, Sr., Theodore Acker, Jr., and James "Butch" Acker.

Dorothy was a proud grandmother of ten grandchildren and a cherished great-grandmother of four, each of whom brought her great joy and pride.

In keeping with Dorothy's wishes, services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.

Wagner-Elfner and Harkins Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 600 Main Street, Delta, Pennsylvania, is assisting the family with arrangements.
