DOROTHY L. WILSON, age 81 years, of York, formerly of Delta, Pennsylvania died on Monday, March 24, 2008 at the York County Hospital and Home. She was the wife of Arthur Leroy Wilson who died on October 11, 1999.

Mrs. Wilson was born on November 2, 1926 in Chicago, Illinois; a daughter of the late Arthur A. and Mary A. (Turney) Poliguin. Mrs. Wilson graduated in 1944 from St. Mary's High School in Chicago and worked as a proof reader and copy writer for a local newspaper. She and her late husband moved from Chicago to Delta, Pennsylvania in 1984. She was a homemaker and a very talented musician playing the piano and trombone; in addition to being a creative cartoonist and short story writer. Mrs. Wilson was of the Roman Catholic Faith.

She is survived by a sister, Mary L. Carden of Chicago, Illinois.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 28, 2008 at 3:00 PM at Slateville Cemetery, 308 Slateville Road, Delta, Pennsylvania.

Father A. Henry Kunkel, III of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Parish, Pylesville, Maryland will be the celebrant.

A memorial service in honor of "Dorothy" will be held at a later date in Chicago, Illinois.
