EDITH ADA HUTTON, age 97 years of York, formerly of White Hall, Maryland, died on Thursday, April 26, 2007 at 8:35 a.m. at Misericordia Nusing Center in York, Pennsylvania. She was the wife of James R. Hutton who died in 1986.

Mrs. Hutton was born on April 13, 1910 in Enid, Oklahoma a daughter of the late Frank and Susie (Schultz) Smith. She was a homemaker and had lived in the White Hall area for many years before moving to York.

She is survived by her friend, Cynthia L. Brindle of Pylesville, Maryland.

Mrs. Hutton was preceded in death by her brother: Daniel Smith and her sisters: Sara Vincent and Esther Hopkins.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Nebo Cemetery, 962 Flintville Road, Delta, Pennsylvania.

Pastor Dennis L. McCleary, Mt. Nebo United Methodist Church, Delta, Pennsylvania will officiate.
